Man,what a tournament ! Anything that could go wrong, did, for some anglers anyway. This was however, one of the best Team Supreme Outdoors weigh - ins ever. You guys had everything from trucks and trailers under water, to blown truck tires and bad axles. The fishing was great ! I applaud all the anglers that fished this tournament. 4/11/09 3-Mile.

It was 51 degrees at the start of the 2nd Tournament on 4/25/09 and 47 degrees at stop. Water Temperature was 56 to 60. The winners were Steve Green and Jeff Wynn from Creston Iowa with 6 fish weighing 22.80 lbs. They used plastics and jigs and fished in creek mouths most of the day. Fish came out of 4' to 8' depth. Slow bite all day. They're best fishing location was upper end of lake.
The 2nd Place winners were Jon Gustafson and Scott Howarth from Creston, Iowa with 18.26 lbs. The lures used were jig and pig. Best location was mid lake point. Fished in 3' to 5' of water on secondary point all day.
1st Big Bass: Jeff Wynn 4.92 lbs. !
2nd Big Bass: Jeremy Sorensen 4.85 lbs. !

Bill & Lance 5/16/09 Ken Sorensen 5/16/09
Iowa's third Tournament on 5/16/09 was 44 degrees at the start. 62 degrees at weigh-in. Water was 62 to 64 degrees. Windy day at 35 to 40 mph! Bill Heverly and Lance Baker won the Tournament with 17.19 lbs. They used plastics and crankbaits. QUOTE: Had limit by 8:30 am, caught 15 keepers and culled all day. Steve Green and John Thomson have 2nd place with 16.92 lbs. Ken Sorensen had the Big Bass weighing 3.96 lbs. John Thomsen had 2nd Big Bass: 3.92 lbs. Raymond Roberts won the patch draw.
Aaron & Rory Benton 5-23-09
It's the fourth tournament and everyone caught fish. 54 degrees at the start and 82 degrees at weigh-in. Aaron and Rory Benton from Greenfield, Iowa won with six fish weighing 23.32 lbs! They said they caught fish all day but the big fish came early. Their best fishing locations were mid lake and rock piles. Lures of choice were soft plastics. Rory is a businessman and Aaron is a union sheet rocker. Both enjoy hunting and fishing. Congratulations to Aaron and Rory! The 2nd place winners were Pat Tran and Mike Hecker, also with six fish. Their weight was 20.09 lbs. Congratulations to Pat and Mike. The Team Supreme Patch draw winner was Scott Howarth.
1st Bis Bass: Rory Benton 4.95 lbs.

The weather for the fifth tournament in Iowa at Brushy Creek was 49 degrees and rain at start and 72 degrees at weigh-in. First place winners were Bob Booth & John Booth from Des Moines, IA. They had six fish with a total weight of 15.44 lbs. Their best fishing location was main lake treelines. They used jigs and plastics. "We caught fish all day, caught 20 plus keepers but no big kicker." 2nd place went to Bill Heverly of Omaha, NE & Lance Baker of Ankeny, IA. They also had six fish with a total weight of 15.07 lbs. Their best location was lower end of lake and lures used were plastics and spinnerbaits. "Had limit by 6:30 am, big fish at 9:00 am. Them slow after rain stopped." Lance Baker had the Big Bass (4.11 lbs.). Matt Leibrand had 2nd Big Bass (3.76 lbs.). Chad Baker won the Team Supreme Patch Draw. Congratulations to the winners!

Tim and Matt Leibrand of Mason City, IA won the Okoboji Tournament on June 20, 2009. They had five fish with a total weight of 10.31 lbs. They used plastics and fished the upper end of lake. "Fished docks and grass lines in 8' to 10' water." Bill Heverly and Lance Baker were 2nd place winners. They had four fish with a total weight of 8.14 lbs. They fished main lake points/reefs with plastics and topwater lures. "Struggled all day. Fished from 20' to 6". Lost a 4 lb. bass at the boat! Cost us tourney and big bass."
Big Bass winner was Tony Johnson 3.90 lbs.
2nd Bis Bass winner was Al Thayer 3.75 lbs.
Patch winner was Doug Bolinger
